Kanye West wrote a song for his girlfriend Kim Kardashian. Many will say: Aww…what a nice guy! But the song is named Perfect Bitch. I am not sure how did “bitch” became a nice word and how is it O.K. to call a woman bitch? If this is not such a big deal and I am being crazy about this, can someone tell me are the “musicians” who prefer to call women bitches calling this way their moms, aunts, sisters, daughters or even grandmothers?
I even heard a song starting with I don’t want to be disrespectful…and than he calls her a bitch! If this is not a disrespectful word why he has to say this first? Just that introduction is saying this is not a normal way of talking with someone. I am not sure in what context this word is not a disrespectful one and when it is a compliment.
The moment I hear all of those, who claim this is a normal way of addressing to a woman, say to their daughters: “It is bed time, nighty night, bitch and sleep tight”. I will say this is O.K. Not saying that Kim Kardashian is a saint, but still no one should be treated like this and specially not approving it. This should not be the way women are treated. If we are equal, than treat me as if I am.
