Dafuq Moments In The Walking Dead

Rick Grimes is a former Sheriff’s deputy who has been in a coma for several months after being shot whilst on duty. When he wakes, he discovers that the world has been taken over by Zombies, and that he seems to be the only person still alive. Having returned home to discover his wife and son missing, he heads for Atlanta to search for his family. Narrowly escaping death at the hands of the Zombies on arrival in Atlanta, he is aided by another survivor Glenn who takes Rick to a camp outside the town. There Rick finds his wife Lori and son Carl. Along with his partner and best friend Shane, he founds a small group of survivors who struggle to fend off the zombie hordes, as well as competing with other survivor groups who are prepared to do whatever it takes to survive.

Even though this is a high budget TV show, still there are a lot of Dafuq moments. Here are some of them:

New Gypsies

They were the inner-city youth who, fuelled by punk spirit, anarchist philosophy and a hate of Margaret Thatcher, clambered aboard a fleet of battered old vehicles to shun the trappings of the modern world for a life of nomadic freedom.

And while today’s new-age travellers appears to have taken the philosophy even further, preferring to use traditional horse-drawn caravans instead of gas-guzzling vans, they also appear to be embracing the modern technology like mobile phones, laptops and even Facebook.

During the late 1980s and 1990s stories about the travellers were commonplace – illegal raves, clashes with the police, drug busts and fury at the criminal justice act.

Middle-class youngsters, to the utter horror of their well-to-do parents, flocked to swell their ranks enchanted by the romantic lifestyle, lack of rules and wandering ways.

Photographer Iain McKell has tracked and befriended a small tribe of New Gypsies for over ten years and his collection of pictures is available in his book The New Gypsies, which is published by Prestel Publishing.

Incredible Moments From The Pas Captured By Camera

There are a lot of moments form the past which we are glad to remember and some not so great, but the camera is the one which doesn’t decides if the moments hurts or not, it just takes photos of the things they are at the moment. I am sure some of these photos will be stunning and some will be even sad to look at, for example as the photo of Goebbels wedding, but some are really amazing and will bring a smile one your face.

The Aurora Borealis Photos are Breathtaking

An aurora (plural: aurorae or auroras; from the Latin word aurora, “sunrise”) is a natural light display in the sky particularly in the high latitude (Arctic and Antarctic) regions, caused by the collision of energetic charged particles with atoms in the high altitude atmosphere (thermosphere). The charged particles originate in the magnetosphere and solar wind and, on Earth, are directed by the Earth’s magnetic field into the atmosphere. Aurora is classified as diffuse or discrete aurora. In northern latitudes, the effect is known as the aurora borealis (or the northern lights), named after the Roman goddess of dawn, Aurora, and the Greek name for the north wind, Boreas, by Pierre Gassendi in 1621.

Why Nikola Tesla Is One of The Greatest Men

Nikola Tesla was a forward-thinking Serbian-American scientist and inventor who made important contributions to physics and engineering. He is best known for his work with electricity, including the design of alternating current (AC) electricity. He also had a flair for the dramatic, creating elaborate experiments and showcasing his work with spectacular demonstrations. Tesla, Westinghouse and Edison were at the heart of the so called ‘war of the currents’ between alternating current (AC) and direct current (DC) as a means of distributing electrical power.

He was obsessed with doing things in threes and would only stay in a hotel room with a room number divisible by three. Indeed, he lived the last ten years of his life in room 3327 on the 33rd floor of the Hotel New Yorker. Tesla and Mark Twain were close friends. He made his first million at forty, but was unconcerned with material objects and gave away nearly all the royalties on his inventions after that. He spoke eight languages! In one word this man was a genus!

Holes In The Ground Are Eating People

The Police in Florida is losing their hope of finding Jeff Bush alive, which was swallowed with the whole room in a karst valley that opened in a suburb of Tampa. These cases of ground opening are happening more and more in past years. This is happening all over the world. Jeremy, Jeff’s younger brother, says that he doubts that his brother is alive.

Probably the best known and the scariest hole in the ground that opened is the one in Guatemala. The authorities say that this whole opened due to heavy rains caused by Hurricane Agatha in 2010. This whole swallowed a building and 15 people died.

Last year in August security cameras have caught on tape the ground opening and the poor man falling into it. Rescue teams have pulled him out, but he died later from the injuries.

The same month in Idaho 32-years-old Sonia Lopez dies when a big hole opened on the road where she was driving her car.

In July, 2011 a 15-years-old girl gas died the same way when a whole opened on the road in Utah.

Fortunately, not all wholes had taken lives. In Gvangjou, China a giant whole took a new building, but the new building was not settled yet.

Expectations Vs. Reality

Have you ever tried to make something which looked so easy when you watched someone else do it? It was like, Oh, this is so easy. I will nail that! Mine will be even better. I’ll go all creative one this. But the result is not always totally look-a-like. Or sometimes is not at all. These are probably the worst attempts, ever.

Crazy and Funny Korean Comics
